New Ventures BC
New Ventures BC (NVBC) is a non-profit organization dedicated to recognizing, encouraging, and developing entrepreneurship and innovation in B.C.’s start-up technology sector. Their key initiatives include education, mentorship, networking, cash prizes, grant funding, and recognition.
During my years working with NVBC, the company revamped its branding. My work with them included a variety of mediums from digital, print, and merch. Specifically, I made animations, various transit print ads, digital PPC ads, newspaper print ads, social media graphics, and swag designs.
Much of my work with NVBC revolved around animations promoting their programs.
Transit Ads
One of the unique projects I took on with NVBC was to design transit ads for their ISI grant program. These were shown inside the SkyTrain cars and at bus and train stations around Vancouver.
Selfie Social Media Campaign
Beyond animations, I created social media graphics. Featured in the following mock-ups are the posts I made to promote a contest for NVBC.
Swag Designs
Hosting various events and recognition ceremonies, I worked with New Ventures to create an array of swag. Displayed here are the designs for a reusable tote bag. I also created pin designs for alumni of their programs, award designs, and more.
